Getting this on Sunday for my birthday. Or so I've been lead to believe. Excited.

Think I'm going to take the plunge on that Diesel now that I have the approval of my online peers.

manny sort of has a point regarding leather straps. If you either spend time in an environment where you may sweat (even slightly) or have to wash your hands frequently, you will probably end up with a manky strap. I only wear them rarely, like if I'm wearing a suit, etc.

Also, don't buy watches made by fashion houses. Get a nice Swiss watch. They don't have to break the bank. My Tissot is still my favourite watch and was about £120, and I've had it for nearly ten years (bloody scary thought, that).

I would only wear this on smart occasions.

I'm trying to stick to a budget of £80.

I suppose you can't put a price on the feel of cool metal against the wrist.

G shock ftw. Got a nice digital one that looks like the terrorist one a few pages back but has solar battery, radio set timing etc etc. Love it.

This deal here, it's not posh but I really like it.

I'd never go for that kind of watch but that's pretty nice.

First watch I've owned as an adult. It is very nice, but possibly a bit too smart for casual wear (looks more like silver than stainless steel in real life) so I tend to only wear it at work.

My 2 chronographs, both presents from the wife over the years. I want a G shock that I'm happy to knock around for sports and casual next.

Got another G Shock an analogue/digital one, all black with negative digital display.

I'll get a formal watch one day, all my old watches end up beat up fast so these watches are great for me.

After a shitty few months and working my arse off for what seems like forever I thought I'd treat myself today so I ordered my 'dream watch', a TAG Heuer Carrera 1887 Chronograph (CAR2A11.BA0799). Up to a 15 day wait for delivery. Will be worth it :)

That's a mighty fine watch. You flash banana split.

I had the opportunity to buy a LE TAG a couple of years ago for about £1500, I think it retailed for around £1800.

Was a gorgeous watch but it just seemed batshit mental at the time, since seeing a few friends with them though I kind of regret it. Would be a lovely thing to have even if I'd never wear it.

Also would make me feel like Leonardo Di Caprio.

Time for adventure

I don't think I could walk around knowing my full suite of jewelry was worth more than anything else I own.
