There we go. Opinions, suggestions etc.

I know the "Currently Playing" text is wrong and the timers aren't on but that's pretty much the look I'm going for. I'll probably do one more with everything finalised before the actual event.

Yeah, man, definitely!

It's come around really quickly this year and has kinda caught me out. I'm hoping to get something up on the SKSP site about the forum, will post a link when it's done :)

I'm still trying to make my mind up on what to do. I either do a format where I play 24 games in 24 hours as 1 hour segments or spend the entire 24 hours playing Super Smash Brothers 64/Melee/Brawl/Project M because I'm trying to get good at them. Or I could find some left field game to play and dedicate the run to that, it would need to be the kind of game where every players individual run would be somewhat unique.

Shame I'm crap at speed running.

One of the reasons I went for PC games over PS4 was the ease of customising my stream. The PS4 is great, but the functionality is very bare bones at the moment. If I'd had a PS Eye I might have still used it, but I can do much more on PC. Hope they add more options to the PS4 though. Would be great to add in some custom elements.

Signed up and made a just giving page. I take it the page will reset or something at the weekend because at the moment it is signed up to last years event for some reason. I need to get a better handle of everything really. I still haven't made my mind up about games.

Picking up snacks and supplies tomorrow.

Just sorted out a text number people can donate with and pre-warned people on Facebook that I will be updating Facebook/Twitter at least once an hour from 23:00 Friday.

Welcome, Dig Dug! Thanks for signing up, loved the story on your page :)

Guys, hey guys....it's almost time! Are you ready?

Slayerx, glad to hear that you're getting the supplies in; keeping energy levels up is very important, but stay away from energy drinks and the like or you'll find it a struggle in the later hours.

Our very own Green Gecko has kindly offered his merchandise services and is producing 3 t-shirts for the prize draw that's held after SKSP each year. What's even better is that he's going to make a custom tee for the person who raises the most over the weekend! Spreading the GRcade message - world wide! 8-) (Maybe. Depending on where the top fundraiser's from...)

Here's a link to the story on the SKSP site, check it out, you might recognise some of the names mentioned :)

I'm planning starting at 7pm tomorrow. Currently asking a lot of people I know from uni if they want to come down and play games for the weekend. Should be good if I can pull it off on such short notice.

That sounds like it'd be brilliant! Just make sure you have enough controllers :)

I have 4 cube controllers and 4 N64 controllers, I'll have to tell people to bring their own controllers just to be safe (having multiple systems and all). The game I'm hoping to play is on the main screen (the stream), if people from my uni's gaming league come that is, is Super Smash bros 64, melee and project M because we have been getting progressively better at those games and can play them for hours (also a few of them are playing it at a tournament at the end of the month). Only thing I'm lacking is a decent microphone but I'm sure that will sort it out (I have one but it is designed for close ranged use).

Well I'll be kicking mine off at 7am tomorrow morning!

My proposed playlist:

7am - Intro/ Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon
10am - Super Mario World
11am - Civilization V
2pm - Castlevania: Symphony Of The Night
3pm - Dark Souls
6pm - Crash Bandicoot
7pm - Middle Earth: Shadow Of Mordor
10pm - Sonic The Hedgehog
11pm - Alien: Isolation
2am - Goldeneye
3am - Elite Dangerous
6am - Gradius V/Finish

Though I may swap out Gradius V for something else as my PS2 emu is playing up for some reason.

I'll post a link to my Twitch stream here in the morning before I start, as well as updates every so often throughout the day!

That's a great mix, good idea splitting it between loads of games too as it really breaks the time up.

Now, away to bed, you've got a busy day tomorrow! :)

Yeah I'm just about to head to bed now.

If anyone else is Streaming, I'll be making a Sick Kids Save Point Livestreaming thread so that we can keep the streams all in one place. I would suggest a post each, but it'll be hard to stop other people from posting between them. So anyone else wanting to can send me the link to their stream (I'll be using Twitch) and I'll embed it in the first post if you like.

Anyway I'm off. Good luck to everyone else! :D

Good idea. They usually post live streams on the main site too but it'd be good for folk to follow on here.

Best of luck!
