For me that would be the basic free view channels plus Sky 1, Sky Living (just for Supernatural), Sky Atlantic, FX, movie channels and Sports. Actually probably some Music channels too, need something to flick over to during the adverts.

Same.

Just basic freeview channels plus Sky1, Sky Atlantic, FX, Film4, Comedy Central+Extra and stuff like Discovery, Nat Geo and History.

If only. :(

Film 4 is a freeview channel.

Do they realise their competitors offer it free and have done for god knows how long?

This argument reminds me of something. If you just replace the word 'HD' with 'Online Multiplayer'. :shifty:

Complete waste of money. Why do this when you can get an awesome Humax Freesat HD box for £200 and record everything, forever, for free?

Yeah so me and the girlfriend pay £19 a month currently for the Entertainment pack and Documentaries.

With the new structure we're going to have to pay £25 a month and have kids channels and music channels bundled in, even though we don't want them.

Nice one Sky.

Pah!

Just phoned Sky and it seems the only people they're not offering a good deal to is customers who already have an HD+ box as part of a multiroom. To upgrade the regular Sky+ in my room to an HD+ would cost £149 plus £15 delivery :x

The bastards!

This argument always seems to pop up from time to time, & I doubt many would disagree that the box isn't extremely good, but it's the programming. People are happy - well perhaps not happy, but begrudgingly willing - to pay a premium for Sky Sports, & for US drama.

We get Broadband, Calls, Line Rental, Sky, Sky HD and ESPN on our Monthly bill.

Yeah same here. I don't have ESPN but I do have 3 boxes. This is why it Pisses me off that sky won't upgrade my boxes for a decent price.
