I currently only pay £25 a month as I rang them a few months ago and said I was going to cancel, they offered me half price for 6 months. When it runs out and I go back to full price then I will cancel. I don't even watch sky sports anymore as it's better craic heading to the pub.

Hard to go to the pub for the live sports at 12am to 4am such as US Open though.

Good job I'm not that fussed on golf then!
I know what you mean though, I may keep it just for sports and entertainment. Always handy to be able to crash on the sofa and watch the footy I suppose.

I'm pretty sure that he cares even less for tennis than golf with that last comment.

Yep, my Sky bill is like £100 a month.
Yeah same here. I don't have ESPN but I do have 3 boxes. This is why it Pisses me off that sky won't upgrade my boxes for a decent price.
Once we've hit 12 months for the HD pricing (you have to agree to 12 months contract when upgrading to Sky + HD) I'm gonna try and get our combined bill down to about £55 per month, which will include everything we have now, strawberry float them if not, we'll look elsewhere! ESPN is free with Virgin!

Just looked it up, my basic bill is £69 a month, at the moment, we only really use about a dozen channels.
SKY Basic TV package - £24.50
SKY HD Pack - £10.25
ESPN - £12
Broadband - £10
Line Rental - £12.25
Total £69
Will probably drop the HD pack in a few weeks, once we've hit 12 months due to my folks not really caring about HD!
