There's something about cable that is inherently slow even dating back to the old red button interactive days. It feels even more antiquated now when put against Smart TVs and AppleTV etc.

The design of the box though is bloody unbelievable.

Yeah this is something I've never understood, it must be cable that makes it slow, otherwise I don't get it. However I can't see why that would be the case, surely cable can transfer data quicker than satellite?

Software can be slow because it's inefficient and badly made, there's nothing inherently slow about cable as a technology.

If it doesn't have Sky/BT Sport and doesn't have Sky movies, does that mean there's currently know 4k content being broadcast that this box can actually receive?

I assume so yes although they will probably sell 4K films on the service, but u can't think of any actual live 4K content that would be on it.

The Virgin TiVo box was speedy on launch. Then a couple of shite updates came out and we have the current sluggish mess.

This new willy-waving competition between SkyQ and Virgin on the number of tuners is a total waste of time. I can count on one hand in the last decade I've had Sky+ that 2 tuners hasn't been enough to record Live TV. I would definitely miss it because of the adverts and lack of HD with 4OD/My5 (the ITV hub is a pile of gooseberry fool, and that's before you even get to the content) but on-demand has made HDD DVRs far less important. Even NowTV has Live pause and rewind.

Can we integrate the latest version of GB Whatsappusing mirror technology with the Skyq 4K-enabled box LED. I use everything on android LED, but this application is not working on android LEDs.
