Got all excited when I went through to the Categories section on Sky 1 and saw all those back episodes of Ross Kemp on Gangs. Then got really annoyed when it turned out they were a quid each.

strawberry float that for a laugh.

Ross kemp on gangs was gash. Sky sports and the movies for free thanks to my folks makes this blooming marvelous.

The spanish footy highlights show being my fave thing on it at the mo!

I quite enjoy Kemp's programmes. He's a shite presenter but he does seem to get unprecedented access to some very interesting situations.

I mainly use it for the movies, couldn't give a toss about sports, and for that the service is fantastic. I just think it's a but cheeky to charge for back issues on top of the subscription fee.

I get that with Vidzone on PS3 in the evenings or weekends. Only time I'm home too :x

For those using sky player on xbox without a multiroom sub, I just came across something over on AV forums.

If you type in sky player multiroom subscription and find the relevant page it says it only costs £5 per month to add this to your account. However, everything related to sky player on xbox suggests it is £9.75. I think the £9.75 is for the extra box at home, but if all you want to do is watch live TV on up to 4 computers and your xbox, I think it only costs £5pm (or so the post over at AV forums suggests). Not tried to set this up yet but at £5 for footy using my dad's account, I am sorely tempted.

Yup, I put it down to my wireless connection though. I've gotta say, despite the connection issue, it's a decent service. Obviously the value isn't great if you're not a subscriber already, but for those who are it's pretty cool.

I think this sums it up really. If you already subscribe (with Sky Broadband or multi-room) then it is fantastic. 100s of movies available for no extra cost at any time, the ability to watch football when the Mrs wants to watch some shite, etc.

It is not so great if you don't already have Sky although if you can find somebody who does and borrow their details...

Bump !

Recently when watching SkySports the screen seems stretched, for example during tonights game I can't see the entire scoreline or the skysports logo. Is there a fix for this?

Are you using an HD tv? If not then flick the right stick and it shrinks the screen down a bit. If you are using an HD telly then I've no idea.

If anyone has been using a sky player multiroom sub to watch live channels, the price is going up from £5 ppm to £9.75. For that money, whoever actually has the sky account can get an extra box, so this seems to be a bit of a joke. Oh well, getting footie using my dad's supscription for only £5 ppm was good while it lasted.

Anyone having trouble with the Skyplayer at the moment? I get this error (0701/c00d/fr38) when trying to watch stuff on demand . It's damn annoying, as my Sky+ HD box died and we're waiting on a new one (and to make it worse, I've had it for literally 1 month.)

No, it's working fine for me. Sorry, that might not be much help.
