Apparently many people who signed up for notifications with Amazon and was relying on that didn't get one because the listing number was different.

Don't worry fellas, this happened with the NES Mini too. There'll be more stock made available, just got to keep your eyes peeled.

I lucked out by being around when the Nintendo link went up. Pre-ordered and ready to go, can't wait!

You can see why resellers do it though. I mean there is literally nothing to lose. Onus is on the manufacturer to make it as fair as possible, which would probably have to be the way Sony sold the PS2 at launch. The more barriers you initially put in place, the more likely these things go to true fans. Sony tried with the 20th Anniversary PS4 but that was a bit of a shambles as well.

I hope there's a backdoor in this one to install more games, just like with the NES version. Someone will crack it, surely, even though they're bound to have beefed up security a bit.

I would have liked Pilotwings.

I think this is where Sony may struggle if they ever wanted to launch a mini-PSone; they published an awful lot during that period, but own very little of anything here in 2017. All that licensing is going to eat into their profit margin. And then there's the soundtracks.

Pilotwings is the most obvious omission for me. Maybe Chrono Trigger. Shame Axelay isn't on there.

Credit to Nintendooomed, all the hype this year has come from them. 2 hot properties with the old limited stock trick, whether intentional or not.

Pilotwings is the big omission, the DKC sequels as well would have been nice to have on there.
