My Retrogamer issue 172 turned up today after I ordered it online from Future.

No Super Play Magazine included.

How hard is it? Surely they would realise the sudden upsurge in Retro Gamer purchases was for the Super Play special?
And also, presumably they worked out they should produce one copy of super play per issue of Retro Gamer?


If I was a subscriber and this happened I'd be even more cheesed off.

EDIT: Scalpers already selling them on ebay. This planet.

Maybe they heard about my snes mini stockpile and.made sure I got the super play

I'm assuming mines will be here today. If it's not got the Super Play supplement I'll be contacting Future and asking for them to either send one on or refund me.

This talk of plentiful stock is making me waver on my pre-orders. Unless, of course, that's what they wanted to happen...

At the very least, I can return one in person to Tesco for a refund, sell the second at cost price if I can't make a horrendous mark-up, and keep the third.

This thing comes out in 2 weeks, if there was going to be plenty then I'd imagine Amazon would know how many it was getting and would have reopened pre-orders. It's a Nintendo console, it will almost certainly have restricted supply for the first month or so. Whether it's the same story around Christmas, only Nintendo know.

The only time I ever saw one in the UK was for over £100 in CEX. I wish it had been like Germany.

Balls. I've moved house and can't amend my Nintendo Store order to deliver to my new house. I can either cancel and risk not getting one, or let it try to deliver and hope whoever is in my old house will not snaffle it for themselves.

Yes. Amazon haven't corrected their price either. With Amazon CS they're very likely to knock it down if you point it out. With GAME you've got no chance.
