Hmmn. I dunno. I love the look of the mini console... but am I really gonna use it much? The games that I may play (Zelda, Super Metroid, Super Mario) I already have on Wii / Wii U. Doubt I'll stump up eighty quid for one, but I can see why folk would.

It's perhaps more interesting in that Nintendo is de-valuing it's older games. Historically they've sold them for about £7 each on their eShops and I can't imagine folk will pay that for Switch versions when these far-better value mini consoles have appeared. I think the Virtual Console service for the Switch is now more likely to be a subscription "play what you want" format rather than purchasing inidividual games.

I'll have one of those Amazon pre-orders. Not that I'm really that interested in getting one

Just looked at the confirmation of my pre order from GAME. The description says at the end (Nintendo Switch) hope GAME haven't jumped the gun and screwed all us pre orders out.

I only found it after searching via Google; couldn't find it searching with same term within the site.

If I was a betting man, I'd guess 10am Tuesday Nintendo UK Store for the Pre-Order.

I've got one in my basket at GAME but the site is behaving like a MOFO.

Yep. Even if you have the slightest interest, pre order I say. Once they're gone, they're gone. Plus you can easily double your money if you decide you don't want it.

This pre order is crazy that it's already sold out this initial batch. Got 2 in, 1 as a backup, but 2hrs availability is madness
