South London reporting in. Had to scrape ice off the car, sunny and bright but cold AF. Not a hint of awesome snow. Thankfully not shitty ice sludge either.

The river Severn seems to kill all snow. It heads over Wales and then just melts over the river saving Bristol from the fury of the blizzard.

Very lovely here. Constant snowfall, everything covered. Looking out over the snowy hills is nice. Was driving home yesterday, its all country roads to get here, and the tree canopies over the roads were all snow covered and you could see the white farms either side leading to the white mountains. Proper little reminder for why you live here and not some city.

There was a pretty good dusting of snow over everything first thing this morning, but it's been so bright and sunny it's mostly melted away now. Still, we're due a lot more snow tomorrow, and I've no plans for the day, so looking forward to just being able to enjoy it.

They've cancelled Lincolns famous Christmas market on Sunday! They'll probably see 1-2cm tops. Seems a bit excessive doesn't it? Then again places like Notts and Newark further down a46 may see more so could cause issues for people trying to get there from further afield.

Just a sparse covering in Notts this morning but the forecast keeps suggesting we'll get more during the morning. Supposed to be heading over to Derbyshire later this morning but not sure what the roads will be like out there.

It was mostly gone when we went to bed last night and we woke up to this :toot:

It's still snowing really heavily too. We can see across to Bristol from up here normally, and yesterday you could see it was only our bit that had snow but today it's white as far as you can see (Which isn't very far).

We had a load here (Stourbridge-way) on Wednesday night/Thursday morning, and we’ve had another covering overnight! More snow than I think we’ve had in like, the past five years combined.
