We've got a light dusting now, but forecast is for heavy snow overnight tonight.

It's been quite mild in hertfordshire, woken up to a light dusting. So confusing!

Most stressful 13 mile drive of my life. Had to go from Manchester to home and it took well over an hour for the final 13 miles.

Snowed then melted then iced then snowed on again.

It's almost as bad here today as it was a few weeks back. Great for a lazy day and taking the dog out to play in the snow, gooseberry fool for tomorrow when I've got to go to work.

Slight dusting but nothing mega, feel sorry for the half marathon runner though, they are not going to have fun.

I feel your pain - when we had the red weather warning I had to drive four miles home and it took about 45 minutes, including sliding backwards down a hill.

No way I'm driving in tomorrow so it's a walk in job for me. As per usual despite the road being indistinguishable from the pavement due to the snow level, our neighbours just got in their Beatle and drove off :dread:

They did that the first time we had a massive load of snow here a month or two ago, spent all day with the street clearing a load of snow and then drove off to look for somewhere to go sledging... we live on a massive snowy hill
