Pavements and side roads are an icy hellscape. Trying to get to and from the buses to work has been scary af

I can't wait for the forecast rain tonight to clear the ice away. I hate it when it snows at the time of year. It always freezes over quickly and becomes massive sheets of ice. It's better when it snows in Feb as it's more often a lot softer and starts melting in the slightly warmer sun that follows.

Poor people in their cars. At least you don't have to do 10 minute + walks that usually take about 2 minutes due to the ice.

Get a car then. You're the boss now, get a chauffeur driven limo. Laugh at the scum walking that 10 mins.

I don't drive but I would imagine driving with ice is harder than a bit of a walk.

The roads around here are all clear. The only bit that isn't clear is the side road leading up to our office, but nobody has to drive there.

It might even be worst than that, what usually took 2 minutes was taking him 10 minutes +.

That could mean 9 minutes extra!

It's the least you would expect from senior management. The old pleb Staydead would have called in with an excuse about hayfever. The new executive Staydead will damn well walk those extra 9 minutes in order to rule his office with an iron fist.

I imagine now he is senior management he has sufficient time management skills to ensure that there is no drop in productivity even with such a severe delay.
