Just got a great incentive from Pizza Hut by text. Any pizza or side for £5, but I'll got to go collect it.

I'm gutted it's going. I've had people at work calling me weird because the cold weather has put me in a good mood. FFS, I can't win! If I'm feeling down it's "cheer up, you've got nothing to be depressed about" if I'm happy then I'm weird. Just let me enjoy this. For me the only down side to the weather is I've missed two gigs I was looking forward to in Sheffield, other than that, literally the best few days in a while for me!

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

Can't believe how much has fallen since 1pm. My partner wanted to go out tomorrow, looks like we won't be going anywhere.

Ain't that the truth. I had Papa John's once and couldn't understand why they'd given me a dip of pure butter for my pizza.

I still remember the first time I tried their garlic dip, it was horrendous. I still feel like I can taste it now. Horrible stuff. I don’t mind their pizzas though but I only ever have them if I stop at the m25 services at cobham.

snowed properly for the first time since Tuesday here, so I went out, took some photos, and now I feel like death. this is why I shouldn't go outside.

Christ that's petty of them. I'd be blocking them and putting my social media on private if I knew my work were snooping on me (they previously got arsey with me because I blocked them from phoning me on my mobile ). Someone broke their ankle walking in yesterday :fp:

All trains and buses still not running around here. Council and the police still advising everyone to not travel at all. Apparently my dad decided to try and drive into work (almost 70 miles from central Fife to East Lothian) but just turned back, no idea what he was thinking there.

I'll show them. Am in for a 24hr shift now.

GARDAÍ HAVE ARRESTED eight people after serious incidents, including looting, at a Lidl supermarket and Centra store in west Dublin.

A large team of gardaí have been deployed to Fortunestown Road and Jobstown.

Both Centra and Lidl have confirmed incidents at their stores.

A digger was purposefully used to gain access to the Lidl premises by ripping into the roof and side wall.

Dramatic video footage of the incident has been uploaded online.

There are also reports from locals that the digger is being used in attempts to break open a safe taken from the store.

I have just been outside to let the dogs out for a toilet break and no one has cleared the path and it’s all icy and I nearly fell over! It’s not snowed all day so it’s all going but it’s freezing and extremely icy

The council where I am has been really ineffective recently with dealing with the ice problem, so many people in my area complaining about it...

I heard about that earlier and thought it was a joke.

strawberry floating hell, if this is what it's like after 2 days of snow imagine what people would be doing to each other after a nuclear war or zombies took over.

If there was a zombie apocalypse, people'd probably be chucking you out of your own house so they could stay safe if there's was compromised.
