Nintendo won but this years E3 has been one big pile of shite overall.
I've been completely underwhelmed by Natal or whatever the heck it's called Move is far to expensive and we didn't get a release date or price (although I expect it to be out soon and be reasonably priced) for the 3DS.

All in all a complete waste of 2 days  .

EA, they had such a great line-up at their conference. Was a real pleasure to watch.

1) Nintendo by a country mile. 3DS, and the line-up of games they have planned for that is absolutely STAGGERING. Fantastic amount of gaming to be had on that console.

2) Microsoft. Showed a lot of games, Slim was pretty cool. Kinect was dull.

9) Sony. No Last Guardian. Killzone 3/everything after that went on for ages. They showed us ADVERTS! LBP2 was nice.

Nintendo won, even if it wasn't good, MS second. Sony managed to spend 1/2 an hour without saying anything of note. Then there was Move pricing. :fp: It's going to be over £50 here just for a complete controller, that's without the eye too. :fp:

The only thing I liked were the Donkey Kong and Kirby megatons.

Maybe I'm just getting old.

If by lots he means Halo: Reach, Fable 3 and a couple of others I can't be arsed to remember then I suppose he's right. All I remember was them trying to bribe the press with free stuff.

Call of Duty, MGS Rising, Halo Reach, Gears 3, Fable 3, Codename Kingdoms (only a CGI trailer) and then Kinect stuff. Some of which was actually good...really.

Ok, COD and MGS don't count, multi platform. I'm talking exclusives here

Halo Reach, Gears 3, Fable 3, Codename Kingdoms

So three then

Microsoft had Game Of Forever with Halo Reach and the new redesign for 360 which I want badly. Nintendo were very good this year with a nice balance between core and casual that they haven't managed for years and the 3DS looked amaze. Sony had more content than MS but it wasn't very interesting and PSN Plus, PSP and Move look dead already to me.

So,

1. Nintendo
2. Microsoft
3. Sony

Nintendo than Microsoft than Sony. Though Sony's conference wasn't as entertaining as Microsoft's (which was so for the wrong reasons granted :P), the content was better. Being a cheap dirty Nintendo whore was going to ensure I'd like theirs anyway, but looking at it objectively it was the best both from a content perspective and from being the easiest conference to sit through. At least they only had one line about how awesome they are at the end compared to Sony's many!

Overall, it's been a solid E3 so far, if not with a slight lack of new franchises. Yet anyway. Also, I'd be careful about getting too excited about the 3DS line up as we don't know how far along in development some of that stuff is (plus it's not unprecedented for things on such lists to be cancelled). If it goes according to plan though...

I didn't see Nintendo so it'll have to be EA. They just got on with it and showed some great looking games.

They only showed like two exclusive games that weren't Kinect.

That was extremely bizarre. I can't believe how long they spent talking about nothing.
