You'd probably get thrown out for even whispering that at Lakeside.

was watching Lakeside when I got in from the pub last night and this little sweaty guy dropped his keys on the oche (SP) think it says it all, really isnt a good standard at all.

Bristow was right they really are a bunch of amateurs these days. Felt sorry for Tony Green and co trying to talk up how a 91 average was an excellent standard while Barney and Taylor were averaging 101 and 109. Hell I'm pretty sure most of the PDC's players average around the 95 mark on telly.

Barney seemed to give up after the fifth leg yesterday, seemingly resigned to his fate. Mind you, he'd have had to have played the game of his life to beat Taylor on that form. Smashed the world record 3-dart average which he set himself a few months ago.

The Hankey/O'Shea final is just starting.

I've got £20 on O'Shea taking it.

Celebrated too early. Went to pieces in the final set, but Hankey nearly slipped up again.

I don't know why I ever bother supporting anyone - whoever I want to win something invariably loses.

Shame that O'Shea lost it.. he was my favourite, what a great bloke too.
I didn't hear the crowd shouting Ted's name at the end anyway.. ;)

Does anyone know what song was playing through the credits and end montage?

Check out my YouTube channel!

My old man has found a place that makes custom flights, though it's quite pricey (£20 for 30 flights).
He said he wanted some Celtic flights, so naturally the designing of said flights fell on my shoulders.

He said he wanted it to have:

  • Wee Jinky
  • The Celtic Badge

And here's what I have:

(The full size image is 1000x770px btw, obviously didn't want to post that up here)

What do you reckon?
I think if they arrive and they look pretty good I might get some made myself.
As I mentioned I used to play all the time, and I'm getting right into it again since last saturday, started hitting my T20's alot more frequently now aswell, still pretty rubbish at checking out mind you..

So I guess that's me back into darts full time again.. Any chance of renaming this to "The Official Darts Thread" ?

I think the stripes would look better going horizontal all the way across the flight (so vertical on the pic) then make the badge smaller and put Jinky on either side of the badge.

Just been practising with my new darts that came today... and I got my best finish in strawberry floating years (if not forever)

A 127 Checkout (T19, T20 & D5) I was amazed! Mostly fluke to be honest but it's starting to really flood back to me despite being away from darts for years.
Just gotta keep chucking those arrows now.

My highest 3 darts is about 140 I think. I started getting decent at it after a few weeks, but then my housemate left and took his board with him. I cannie be bothered to buy a new one.

T20, T17 & D8 is a much better checkout for 127.

Probably a bad time to point out my best checkout is a 170. 8-)

Anyone been watching the Players Championship on ITV4?
I caught some of the quarter finals last night. Couldn't believe that Taylor still one 9-0 despite throwing 'badly' (For taylor :D)

I hope Thornton beats Wade, I can't stand that smarmy skinny banana split. Although, seeing Taylor absolutely trounce Wade would be excellent! :D
