I love being told off by my son, his face is so super serious when he does it.

I was tickling his feet a couple of nights ago and he kept moving his foot away. I’d then move and tickle them again. He looked at me with his most serious of faces, pointed his finger at me and said “STOP IT DADDY”.

He had a tantrum soon after because I had put Ben and Holly on but he wanted to watch Hey Duggee.

Every now and agin well get "Dont" accompanied by a wagging finger. No explanation for it, just "Dont" and the serious eyes, its adorable.

Yesterday the woman I sit next to at work was saying how she finds it disgusting when parents lick a melting ice cream their kid is eating just to tidy it up a bit. She really got disgusted when I told her you sometimes have to lick their hands, or even their face. Then I informed her kids have no boundarties so more than once Ive had a baby fist shoved into my mouth or a finger up my nose. She was really turned off the idea of babies then.

If she thinks that is disgusting, just wait until she finds out what liquid has to be shot inside of her in order to make the baby.

Apparently my son was being naughty and so my wife switched off Hey Duggee and put on (classic) Dangermouse instead.

I wish all punishments involved watching Dangermouse.

Bloody love Hey Duggee. Oliver is obsessed with strawberry floating bing :| Whiny little twat he is. He was 15 months last week. Ridiculous how fast its gone. Question, do you guys entertain your kids all day? Or let them do their own thing, he's at the stage where he kind of wants to play but his attention span is so short he is bored after 2 minutes :fp:

He loves just wandering around but I feel guilty sometimes. Am i being a div?

Last tooth came through last week, he has a full set of chompers bar those massive molars to come through at the back :dread:

I entertain him by playing with his toys or playing hide and seek. But he likes watching telly as well and will sometimes sit on the bed in the bedroom and watch Peppa, Hey Duggee or Ben and Holly by himself.

I feel a little guilty sometimes, sort of like I’m using the TV as a babysitter. But he’s never there alone for long as his attention span isn’t great and I’m grateful for the break.

Exactly that. I need a break but then immediately feel guilty. He still naps so I get a couple of hours to myself when I have him.

He doesnt go anywhere unless Im with him atm, he isn't old enough, by anywhere i mean upstairs alone etc.. He will happily sit in the lounge and dance to hey duggee or sarah and strawberry floating duck. :x :fp: The tv helps when I need to do cleaning or washing etc...he's just starting to sit down with his cars and try to play, he doesnt quite know what to do with them yet, but he loves throwing them everywhere.

My lad is at the age now where he's started making his own jokes up, and most of them revolve around words that sound similar.

"Dad" he goes. "What kind of planet is the best to eat?".

I'm kinda guessing the answer is going to be 'Mars', but you have to let them have their moment so I say I have no idea.

"Penis" he replies.

I'm a little put out by this, I have to confess. Half trying not be angry, half trying not to laugh, I ask him what on earth he means.

"You know, like Venus but with peas"

State of that carpet. :dread:

Seriously though, nice job on the fort. My lot went through a real fort building phase earlier this year, every weekend there would be blankets all over the shop!

My little guy turns 1 in just a few days. Amazing how much he's grown in just a year! He was standing by himself for a few seconds just the other day!

My "little boy" is 21 today. 21 presents await him and we had some wrapping paper made up with pictures of him from his 1st birthday, with our dog when it was a puppy and he was 10 and him and his sister when they were about 7 and 3.
