Welcome to the that!
Panicking is 50% of what you'll be doing for the next 4 years.

My patience is hardly a fraction of what it use to be.
And my hair and beard are now nearly 25% grey hair.

I attribute both facts to having children.

But I'd do it again

Thanks for the welcome all

They're adorable Lewis. I've already picked out a number of costumes that I'll be dressing mini St Nick in, First one being a pumpkin for Halloween.

I didn't plan it with that in mind, but the due date is actually on the day of the final

We're probably going to be going with an elective C-section so that'll be a week or 2 earlier, might have timed it to perfection 8-)

An elective C-section 2 weeks before the World Cup final? You sly dog Preezy.

Yesterday the little guy had a poop and there was some blood in it. :dread:

It was really just a small amount, it looked like when you blow your nose and sometimes there is a bit of blood mixed in with clear mucus.

We took him to the doctor today and he seemed fine and they couldn't see anything wrong. As he hasn't had a poop since then they weren't able to tell us anything about it other than it should be fine but just keep an eye on him.

Has anyone else seen anything like this?

Spoliered for poop...

He's just shy of 4 months, it's never happened before and he doesn't seem to be in any pain. It just sort of happened and he's been fine since.

My lad struggled with poop for a good few months, we had to change his milk because it was causing so much pain, he had traces of blood in a few nappies but once he got used to it, he was fine. Just keep an eye is the best advice i think.

Thanks Glowy. He had another poop tonight and luckily no blood. I'll keep an eye on it and just pray it doesn't happen again. He seems happy enough now so hopefully it was just an anomaly.

In fairness, I got tonnes of the 2016 Euros watched because I was just sitting cuddling the boy.

Glad to hear your boy seems ok Rightey. I don’t remember any blood in my lads poop, but I have heard of it before and think it is common in babies.

As for TV time, newborns are great for that, I managed to get loads of TV and gaming time in when he was a newborn. Not so much now he is running around and demanding things though. :x

Yeah our little one had huge issues with her formula, never blood in her poop, at least none that we saw, but it would cause her discomfort and sometimes it was a huge effort to poop. We changed brands which helped and eventually used the lactose free stuff which seemed to help even more. We dont think shes actually lactose intolerant, she has eaten cheese and had regular milk since with no ill effects but it was probably a bit easier on her tummy when she was younger. I wouldnt worry if hes back to normal now but do keep an eye on it.

As for tv time, it was great before, give her a bottle and stick the telly on, but now shes mobile and knows where the button to turn off the tv is. Great fun when Im watching rugby and I shout at the tv, she can make it go away so Daddy doesnt shout anymore.

Ollie is 8 months next week. Seriously wtf man. He's crawling, trying to walk. 3 teeth. Bombing all over the place. He's strawberry floating awesome. When i come home he bombs to the door to meet me, gets distracted by a block and forgets im even there :fp:

He's the best thing thats ever happened to me. The only downer are his real food nappies. Man they're strawberry floating rank!
