I don’t remember ever seeing green poo. If he is ok and acting normally then I wouldn’t worry too much.

Last night my lad wanted to follow my wife to the bathroom and so I picked him up to let her poo in peace. He started slapping my chest, which turned into punches and then he headed for my face. He was laughing and looked happy while he was doing it, but I worry that he will do it to another kid at nursery so I put him down and start telling him off in my best stern voice. He then got angry and went to bite my hand (not hard and I don’t think he was trying to). I told him off again, he then went to bite my leg. I was desperately trying not to laugh as it was quite comical.

In the end I put him in his cot and left him there by himself screaming for 5 minutes. He didn’t try slapping, punching or biting me again after that. 8-)

Nope we were mainly yellow, apparently if they have green poo it can mean they are eating too much and couldn't process it all.

Yeah, that's the hardest I've ever told off our lad, when he sank his teeth into my shoulder.

Put him down and really shouted at him. He burst into tears and hasn't done it since.

Yeah Zelda has taken to slapping everyone, any time she starts we have to get all serious and make sure she knows its not ok. It doesnt help that her cousins think it is hilarious and dont stop her from doing it to them. I think shes getting the message though, she hasnt slapped me in about a week so thats progress!

Yeah bug is doing that, she is also convinced everything is hers so just grabs for things or tries taking glasses etc. so thats fun having to say "no, stop it" and such to teach her she can't just grab stuff she should ask etc.

Things that are awesome that have happened in the last 4 days: My son being born healthy and happy.

Things that are not awesome: Getting a stomach virus (or maybe bacteria, my doctor didn't know) the same day he was born. Which means I have had to wear a surgical mask and minimize my time with him, and I can't even sleep in the same room as him and my wife. :x

I basically ate nothing but a bagle the first day, then on the second I went to the doctor to get checked out and he out me on a clear liquid diet for a day. After that I started eating some toast and fell ill again and so am now again on nothing but liquids until tomorrow night when I can try some apple sauce.

The healthcare system here in genreral is so crappy. My doctor called it a "stomach bug" to avoid having to classify it as a virus or bacteria, which would have required actually running a test or two, and giving me some medicine. :x

And so it has began, the teething wars :dread:

16 weeks jabs on monday. strawberry float that gooseberry fool. He ended up with a temp of 38 degrees and we were on the phone to 111 at midnight and he was scorching. strawberry floating scary that is. Turns out you can give him nurofen and calpol together. Looking at it now its common sense but at the time it was scary. And not at all clear :(

Also congrata rightey. Hope things improve soon.

Thanks guys, I am glad I have been welcomed into such a prestigious the that.

Day 5 now and I was still feeling ill this morning, my poops were more liquid than my sons. So I went to the hospital to try and get some definitive answers. a mere 6 hours later I've basically been told the same thing after they ran some blood work and urine tests, it's probably a virus. But they've told me to provide a stool sample if I want to make sure it's not bacteria.

I was also told it won't be safe to really be in the same room with my wife and son (we keep his bassinet near our bed) until at least 2 days after all my symptoms are gone. So this means at least 3 more days of surgical masks and minimized contact. :x

Even with the minimum contact I have with him, it's such a joy to see his little sleeping face, or watch him moving around while my wife holds him.

It’s amazing isn’t it. I found myself (and still do 16 months later!) just staring at him and thinking “how did I manage to make you!”.

No, I am aware of booking the delivery with the stork and making sure you pay the stork bill before delivery. I just find myself amazed that the stork managed to bring such an amazing little boy and not the hideous arsehole that I would have imagined I would end up with by looking at myself in the mirror.

This is what is wrong with the world today. People are buying cheap knockoffs from Amazon Marketplace and not respecting the traditions of the stork kingdom.

Storks guarantee delivery on time, they take care in crafting the finest products and have been used since the world was made 6000 years ago.

But sure, rip up the entire fabric of society just because Amazon Prime gives you video on demand as well.

Heathen.

Stork Inc. just doesn't have the customer service and after care, sure you get your little 'un but with Amazon you get Prime Video to entertain them with classic TV shows like Brum, Pingu etc. discount on nappies to stop them shitting everywhere, its a full service. If Stork Inc. wants to continue they need to embrace the new age and moderise and realise people want an all round connected service.

That’s modern life in a nutshell isn’t it? Throw away tradition and handmade craftsmanship! For what? For the latest season of Clarkson’s bigotry and some shite called Mr Robot?

You disgust me.
