After 4 kids poopy nappies was still hard for me to deal with, more so when they get older and do giant logs.

I prefer the giant logs, easier to wipe and pick up.

The black tar gooseberry fools that go up past the shoulder blades though...well, I'd be happy if I never encountered that again.

Right now we are on the light brown and Mustard looking squishy things. The first few days of jet black tar was strawberry floating weird.

We are up to a few a day now we are weening, I suck at nappy changes though, cant help but gag at the whole thing. Proper pansy when it comes to that sort of thing.

I am legit terrified of dealing with poo. I have no idea how ill do it without throwing up. I can handle anything else (bar adult sick) Im dreading it :fp:

I dont do it often so I'm not very used to it but I have gotten better. Although the othe day the wife was changing bug and she farted causing a bit of spattering, that I think would have tipped me of the edge.

Im dreading it. I think I'm gonna buy a mask and just close my eyes and throw baby wipes at him.

Those, particularly when they leak everywhere, are the closest I ever came to throwing up. I distinctly remember one where it was completely contained within the sleep suit, I'm still unsure how one baby contained so much shite.

Was doing a change one day and she started going again, it was like soft serve chocolate ice cream pouring out, pretty much just had to hold her legs up until she was done. Not an experience I want to repeat.

You get used to the poo pretty soon.

At the moment I'm at the level of "oh, there's poo on my hand and the carpet. Nevermind."

Also, I recommend this of you're squeamish about poo smell:

Few dabs of that on your t-shirt pulled up over your nose and you'd survive mustard gas!

While it is never a nice thing, baby poo and sick is not the same as the adult variety. His nappies can be smelly but it is not the same smell as an adult poo and most of the time you can change them without actually getting any on your hands.

If the wife puked/shat herself then I would either refuse to clear it up or would be puking myself if I was forced to. With the kid it is barely something I think about.

You very soon get used to the poos. I described the first black tar one as worse than horishima but now I'm like a pit stop engineer and get on with it.
