I keep singing the gooseberry fool on the city song, so either that he knows it, or blues are a bunch of banana splits and nobody likes them. If any of my family try otherwise ill stop them from seeing him

That would be a disowning matter. :x

I don’t really care about Man City, so it doesn’t bother me. My wife is a Man U fan though so she is really not impressed.

It’s my son’s 2nd birthday today.

He doesn’t know what a birthday is yet, but he was so excited when we gave him his presents. It was so lovely to watch how excited he was, although his favourite thing was Peppa Pig wrapping paper.

Little monster

You should wrap boxes up rather than actually getting stuff he will be just as happy.

He actually did seem to like some of his gifts, rather than just the boxes. He’s loving some wind up cars that my uncle and auntie bought for him.

He’s crying and having a temper tantrum at the moment though because he’s about to have a bath.

Moved bug into a kids bed thing yesterday, 2 hours of crying and fighting sleep but she eventually went to sleep and was fine. Hopefully tonight will be a bit easier.

Zelda has started playing "hide and seek", she will be in a room and will call for me over and over and once she hears me coming she will stand out of view and be quiet. The only issue with her technique is she wants to see the look on my face so she will always lean out from behind the bed or look over the top of the table and then laugh like a loon when I spot her.

I decided to take my lad to a city farm yesterday. He absolutely loved it, he spent the first part of the walk saying “pigs? pigs? pigs?” (strawberry float the police), so I was really hoping they had some there. Luckily they did, but by then he was fascinated with the goats and especially the kids. He is normally a little nervous around animals that he doesn’t know, but he was straight over stroking the kids on the nose through the fence.

If anybody has a city farm near them, I highly recommend it!

I'm dealing with mine sitting her GCSE's and her having her first boyfriend... Luckily her boyfriend is a lad I've known since he was 2 and find to be quiet a decent young lad overall so it's working out about as well as it can do.

Anyone had trouble with food and water for their kids?

Mine is 8 months old now and he's still fairly slow with food, and almost never wants to drink water.

By slow, I mean sometimes he will eat sometimes, but it's very... slow. He just sits there, sort of spaced out, and will every so often let a spoon into his mouth. Other times he just refuses to eat and gets very fussy.

With water, he has one of those spill proof munchkin cups, like this but smaller and with handles...

https://www.amazon.com/Munchkin-Miracle ... 2Bcup&th=1

And he loves to chew on the handles, and occasionally on the rim, but will very rarely drink.

He also sweats like crazy, so I'm sure he must be thirsty but he just refuses to drink.

We had one of those cups but it didn't get used much and the insides went way mank, in the end we got a sports bottle thing and moo was more than happy to drink from that.

After posting that, the little bastard started drinking from it, but it's still a pretty rare occurrence. We also have a tommy tippy cup with a straw but he won't touch that at all.

Do you have a link to the sports bottle thing? I just want to know what it looks like.

This is the sort of thing we got

https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01GTZO2GW/ ... eBbS9YFKGN

They are more free flowing which is better for them. Also as the spout twists away it is way easier to travel with.
