I was sending Hexx PMs trying to set up a bit of baby-making but he's only interested in LewisD now

You dirty little tease - I even logged in to check what flirty filth you might have sent :(

Also I wish I could only be interest in one man at a time :P

But seriously - babies are gooseberry fool. I can't go an visit some chums as their little thing is ill and they don't want strangers/stranger germ in the house.

I had to leave their presents hidden behind a wheelie bin :(

Translation:

Hexx is a Yodel delivery driver and as he approached a house he saw a baby coughing. Rather than risk catching a cold, he hid the delivery behind a wheelie bin. And they should think themselves lucky, usually Yodel deliveries don't make it anywhere near the house it is supposed to be delivered to.

Well it's been 5 days now since we got home and it's all been pretty good. Sadly he got a cold though so is struggling to breath a bit but he is still feeding well and is now about 4 lbs in weight.

One thing with him though and most baby boys I bet,he loves to take a piss just as I take his nappy off

This is a pic from about 10 days ago just to show how small he is.

Edit:by the way I'm posting this from my mobile. Not a clue how big the pic is after uploading it to imgur.

Yep, all boys piss the minute you take off the nappy. The trick is to undo it and then put it straight back down.

Sounds like he's doing really well with putting on weight and that is the most important thing.

By the way I'm disappointed so far as nobody pointed it out but check the hoody out. What is it based on?

In the nicest possible way - and I mean that, because he's a cutey! - but he reminds me of Baby Groot

Felt him kick or whatever he did yesterday. I have the flu so my reactions were muted but it felt like a little bubble popping

Hit a nice rough patch at the moment.

About 2 weeks ago bug was sleeping most of the night with the odd wake up at 3 the properly awake at 5/6 where she comes into our room, the wife it seems has been nudging that earlier as she was having her 3am wake later so she was ending up in our room from like 4.

I also think bug has a cold so we have a nice combo of getting used to our bed not hers, and a cold stopping her breathing properly making her sleep badly.

I miss sleep :(

Mine is in an accident prone stage at the moment, mainly because he can now move around and get himself into trouble. Luckily all the accidents have been while I am at work so it is not my fault.

He has fell off of a bed twice (normal height bed but high up for him!), thankfully he has been completely unhurt each time. Then the other day at baby group he went head first into a broom and scratched his face up. The wife feels terrible but the scratches are not deep so I am not worried about scars.

He hasn't quite worked out how to crawl properly but is standing up, he'll sit by me on the sofa, grab my jumper and pull himself into a standing position before letting himself drop backwards so that the back of the sofa holds him in a standing position. Then he gets really excited that he can do it and topples forward onto my belly.

First Errkal Original Recipe™ baby food batch made.

It is like baked beans but with no salt sugar etc. And has spaghetti added in for carbs.

I too made baby food last night, put it into little pots and froze it for the week. Its just some pureed veg and she will probably hate it but Ill add in some new flavours to the next batch I make, just to keep it interesting.

Good plan, we area at a point where I need to start including more protein and carbs which is more of a faff and new stuff for her to get used to. I use sandwich bag things as I like to keep all the bits seperate and merge just before eating to save having to make multiple versions of something.

Ended up loosing most of my weekend to food making, but I think I am doing in production for the next 2 weeks :D

This way may be much cheaper but my god is it a lot of chopping and work!
