you know what, i haven't had that issue at all. My wife has though, she has worry and paranoia built into her so she does enough worrying for the two of us and i'm not that kind of person really.I think i was more exhausted going back and forth to the hospital when he was born as he had to stay in it for two weeks.

I think so far i had one to two really bad nights of sleep but i generally functioned on 4-5 hours sleep anyway prior to having a baby so it hasn't hit me too hard when i've had about 2-3 hours. He's had issues though with constipation and reflux but i think we will get him sorted soon.

He's also up to 7,8lbs now . Looks strawberry floating huge to me compared to when he was born.

That's awesome news mate: they soon stack the weight on. And yeah, you're better off if you can not be a worrier. I never used to be, but sometimes I'll just wake up in the night and think strawberry float, why hasn't Archie woken up.

He's ill at the moment, too, he has croup, which I'd never heard of, and which seems not too serious, but when you hear them struggling for breath it's horrendous. He has such a confused/pained expression, too.

Yeah never heard of croup before, we already had a cold as well on the 2nd day getting him home. Liquids were just flying out all over the place and a load of mucus. As for worrying i think i need to be calm otherwise me and the wife would be a mess.

I don't think Croup is anything to worry about. My 4 year old had it the other week, first of my kids to get it.

Yeah, my reading of it is that it basically makes their cold symptoms slightly worse and more distressing (for them), but there's nothing necessarily dangerous about the croup itself.

I couldnt not ay anything, I just told her to get her coat on and we going the hospital. Turns out he was just waiting for us to get there till he embarrassed us Little scamp. Apparently i did it when mom was pregnant with me, 4 days I went without kicking, seems he takes after his dad

You can tell a kid will be a good 'un if they react properly to Die Hard.

We went through the same worries, because we'd had a miscarriage before it was worse. Ended up getting a doppler so we could listen to the heartbeat instead of worrying/going to the hospital every week.

My daughter's 18 on thursday. The worries just become more complex.

Not to add to anyone's worries, but they can give false reassurance, so if anyone is using one it's worth keeping that in mind.

I feel your pain though, Akai. We have a little lad now, but because we miscarried before it was a pretty terrifying 9 months. Worth it though

So Zelda rolled over last night and we celebrated as if she had won gold in the Olympics. Its amazing how the littlest things can be a big deal!

Been sorted since we found out it was a lad. He's gonna be called Oliver Peter, Peter is mine and my grandads name And Oliver was shortlisted after I was shown a list of 10 names I could pick from
