Built all of the nursery furniture today, cot, changing table, wardrobe, some other bits and bobs. Felt good

Fabian Delph is a banana split.

Same, I spent ages putting up wall sticker alphabet things and butterflies round the nursery room. Was awesome even if the room wasn't used for like first 5 months.

We have been lucky with our cats, they are all very good, Rupert especially. He cuddles up to bug and doesn't seem to care that she is pulling his fur or ears just takes it loving the attention.

Great picture of your dog! Shame there's a little baby human in it ruining the photo.

I'd be 100 per cent behind that; not sure the dog would be, sadly.

They never get that short, sadly, as she hates having it done, and they're so dark you can't see where the limit is. Also, they don't make contact with the floor when she walks, so they don't wear naturally.

Bit of a pain in the arse, tbh.

My lad was awake this morning before I left for work and so I went and gave him a quick cuddle. When I handed him back to the wife and said goodbye, he was in floods of tears. It’s the first time that he has been upset because I was leaving the house without him and it was horrible and lovely all at the same time.

I know what you mean, I'm gooseberry fool scared of doing this job. On the times I've done it, I've just trimmed a few mms at a time. A couple of times our dog has "snapped" the thumb claw, the last time this happened the vet had to put him out to tidy it up. Do you have a near by vet? At ours, the nurse charges £15 for clipping duties.

We do, but they're no better at it than me! I had to restrain the dog last time. They do need doing, though, maybe I should give the vet another go. If I go with my other half then maybe both of us can restrain the dog while the vet does the nails. Definitely a three-person job
