You make it sounds far easier and idyllic than it actually is, unless you're extremely lucky.
Don't get me wrong, little one is now 5 months and she's awesome most of the time but she certainly does not sleep through every night (we've had a major regression), she hates being put to bed because she wants to carry on playing, she refuses to nap because she wants to play but then gets grumpy because she's too tired.
The little bugger is hard work!
The missus has done the most amazing job with him, we were worried about sleep regression, but so far nothing, he has a bath, goes into our room where its dark and we give his night time bottle, where he starts to get sleepy, once he's finished he goes in his cot with his mobil playing and he rolls onto his side and goes to sleep. Sometimes he wakes around 2am for a feed but he is more often than not dropping that feed now in prep for weaning i dunno. Do you have a routine with him?
Moggy, luckily everyone at work is a parent and loves seeing the photos. He is like a show pony, gets bought into work and passed around for cuddles, I'm keen for him not to be scared of other people so I let others hold and play with him as much as I can.
