Same here, although when I started doing them all our kids seemed much better with it - possibly one of those scenarios where the kid is picking up on a parents anxiety/reaction and building from there.
It's not fun doing it, I can't remember which set of jabs it was but at one point I remember going in with our eldest and there were two nurses and they each had two needles - BAM 2 shots in each thigh within seconds!
The worst thing I think was the heel prick test when they are only a day or so old. I remember the midwife coming round to do that and watching her prick and then squeeze our eldest foot to get the blood out our newborn baby and thinking "what are you doing to my perfectly formed brand new creation you evil person!?"
