Meh. I actually did go through and change the privacy settings on my 'ex-pics' when I started seeing my gf, so only I could see them.

It was a job of 30 seconds and if it made gf feel more secure, then fair enough.


On the flip side, my gf isn't the type to fret about that stuff, but still...

When I worked at Santander I worked in a mainly female-dominated workplace. So on nights out with the branches it'd be me and usually only 1 other lad and so we'd be surrounded by loads of women in photos. She found this odd. I had to keep reminding her I worked with 90%+ female workforce so she had to deal with it as it was hardly going to change.

Massive apology from her this morning. Like an essay. I've spoken to her since and she said that she was feeling "low" I told her if she is feeling low not to go looking for arguments because that's not exactly clever is it.

The photos are on there because I'm too lazy to delete them and they're my only memories of my time In Egypt.

God damn I love winning mini arguments.

But in the first instance this shouldn't have even escalated to this in the first place.

I'm back living with family now. It feels weird after living with housemates/alone/with my wife. I feel like a bit of a failure, like I should be handling it better. I think it will be good for me though. At the very least I'm going from barely eating anything to having at least two meals a day. I've no idea how much weight I've lost since this all started.

I've been invited out this weekend to the Tramlines Festival in Sheffield. I'm torn between wanting to get out and do something to potentially being a killjoy and ruining everyones day. I've never been great in crowds anyway and I'm terrified I'm just going to breakdown and cry.

I just wish I could start moving on, it still hurting so much. I think I've only ever cried this much when family members have passed away. And probably not even then.

Just over a month since I found out about the affair, and not long after that she "officially" ended things between us (I can't believe it's only a month, it seems to have been dragging on forever).

everyone's different Outrunner and you sound like you have a few other issues that i haven't had in the past but for me getting over a relationship has always been fairly short in being upset. I guess i pretty much think strawberry float them , they were in the wrong or basically who needs them and there are plenty more fish in the sea and it's not the end of the world ( i know its stereotypical stuff). i then go and enjoy myself, meet friends, have a few drinks , maybe play some games and chill out and relax. It sounds really simple and in a way it is but it's helped me many a time.

I am quite a confident person though so my perspective is quite different on things than others but some of the things i suggest will help.

Took me nearly a year to drag myself out of the gooseberry fool. And I was only with her 3 years. You'll be okay mate. Start doing things, force yourself to go out. Or go anywhere. Keep your mind on other things.
