Well, got in from the pub last night and was trolling a friend's FB page for a laugh when one of her friends started giving me some gooseberry fool. Next she's messaging me to carry on giving me gooseberry fool.

Now i'm having coffee with her next week.

Smart and acerbic and good looking.

The girl I kind of like has just text me explicitly to say she's split up with her boyfriend. She's coming over tomorrow (that's been arranged for a while though). :o

EDIT: The two things aren't really related at all though, should probably mention that too.

Are you fishing for a date? If you're into threeways you can join myself and Falsey for a nice weekend.

Yeah, understandable. They've been split up three and a half months after she found out he cheated on her with our other housemate at the start of January. We've got to know each other platonically since then and we quite like each other and want to give it a shot, relationship wise.

Meh if he cheated on her then he forfeits any rights he had to feel bad about how she moves on.

Just to clarify, you're currently living with the guy who cheated on the girl you're seeing and the girl he cheated with?

I think in order for the relationship to work, you'll probably have to move out... I can't imagine this girl ever wanting to go back to yours with them about :dread:

Yeah, that's pretty much the situation. I guess that might have to happen if he doesn't come to terms with it. Unfortunately, mutual friends are reinforcing his 'hard done by' attitude. I had one on the phone yesterday demanding to know why I've done what I've done.

It's not even like I've told him we've been hiding a year long affair or anything, just that we've got to know each other since their break up, we like each other, and would like to see where it goes.
