A not really spoilerish description of his character when he was cast:

Donal Logue — who last appeared in the network’s series Terriers — will play a brilliant and dangerous U.S. Marshal named Lee Toric who is forced into retirement because of his history of violence. He’ll appear in the drama’s final three episodes before it wraps its current season on Dec. 4.

A terrific penultimate episode. Jax is totally out of his depth and control now. The finale should be brilliant.

Can't wait for the next episode.

I kind of feel bad for Clay now. :fp:

At this point last season I wanted Clay to die, and now at the same place in this season I want Jax to die as he's turned into a right gooseberry fool not that he obviously will being the lead character of the show.

My girlfriend walked in just as THAT Otto scene was on and she just screamed. :lol:

It was incredibly gruesome, made me have to pause the show for a bit in shock. The last two episodes have been absolutely brilliant. :wub:

Pretty good finale, last couple of episodes got my interest back and it ended good enough to make me eager to come back next year. No easy feat considered how disillusioned I was with the show before after last season's finale.

That Otto scene was strawberry floating ludicrous. Not sure if I loved or hated it.

I feel like Pope was kinda wasted throughout the season as if the writers didn't really know what to do with him.

Is it wrong that I laughed at that Otto scene? :shifty:

Another great episode, but I also felt Pope was wasted a little bit. Last two seasons have been excellent viewing.

Wow. This series came out of nowhere from me. Got season 1 for Christmas last year and have raced through them all.

Thought the S5 finale was really well done, though felt they could've gone to town withPope's death.

If you liked this, try out The Shield if you haven't already.

Also, can't help but recommend watching Oz as I'm currently re-watching it myself. :wub:

One of my all time favorite show . It also came out of nowhere as I actually ordered series 1 from love film thinking it was an actual film :slol:

Shields is awesome. After recommendation from you guys I have blasted through season 1 and now watching S2. Absolutely brilliant.

A fair season opener. I liked the promo for next week- Claudette!

Pretty good start, a lot of plot to get through, where else would you get rape, drowning in piss and a kid shooting with an uzi, the last incident will be hopefully go somewhere interesting:-
