The state of Knuckles
Watching that trailer again I have a sonic heroes vibe from it.

The game environments look sort of ok... nah, I can't try and see good stuff in this. It looks like the sort of thing a company would get one of their B-team studios to develop just to complete a contract. Which is what it actually is.

So, the three Sonic exclusives for the Wii U have been Sonic and Mario Something Something Something 2014 Olympics (rubbish), Sonic Lost World (looked good.. but gameplay was a total disappointment) and Sonic Boom. I won't be pre-ordering.

Hmm, I can see why Big Red Button's founders are no longer with Naughty Dog...

I'll give the redesigned characters 3/10, except for Knuckles who gets a big fat zero.

Looks like the final nail in the Wii U coffin is blue.

This is the one that breaks the cycle. First impressions are that it is terrible, we write it off as another gooseberry fool Sonic and then Boom (pun intentional) greatest Sonic game of all time.

Believe. 8-)

Tails looks alright. Sonic looks like Nathan Drake with that scarf and Knuckles looks ridiculous.

I don't know or care who the girl is but she's probably always looked terrible.

Very sorry to hear Sanzaru are doing the 3DS version. Sly Cooper 4 wasn't brilliant but they deserve better than this.

Looked ok in sonic cd.

They redesigned the character in Adventure and it isn't anywhere near as charming.

I still can't quite believe this. I mean, what's the point? Who buys this gooseberry fool?
