Is the beast souls one a dark souls type game? I'm rubbish at it.

The other one I don't know nothing about apart from a kid wearing beats headphones fighting a dragon.

So I will wait on the second one tbf.

That conference really was excellent (even with the statistics interlude).

Ratchet isn't a re-release. It's a reboot. They are tying the movie and game franchise to the same new timeline.

Also expect 6 more 1st party PS4 games at Gamescom, with two due for release this year. They might just downloadable titles.

That's not what they said at all. They are re-imaging the first game. So it will be different in terms of both story and gameplay.

This is also set to be Insomniac's biggest game yet, both of their studios are on it and it has all the top staff from Insomniac on it. Seems Sony are splashing the cash to get the Ratchet & Clank franchise to where it should be.

Well I'm glad I didn't stay up for this, nothing I'm super super interested in. I like Ratchet and Clank so hopefully the re-imagining will be good and maybe Little Big Planet 3 could be a bit of fun, but the rest of it wasn't really my bag.

So pleased to see Not a Hero get announced for PS4.

Grim Fandango remake sounds like the most exciting thing from this conference from what I've seen.

Ah, I must have misinterpreted.

Even better news in that case.

I don't even own a PS3 but Sony have really been impressing me since they started the original PS4 build up, they really want the pull they had with the PS2 back, you can just see it when they make their announcements, "best version", "timed exclusive", "exclusive content", plus loads of 3rd party exclusives. Also their heavy indy support show that they now realise that smaller studios making budgeted games were one of the reasons why the PS1 and PS2 were so great.
