You have to assume there'll be an open beta down the line, even just to stress test the servers.

It's not going to be any fun competing online if they don't sort out the cheating, I mean -32 for 9 holes, come on.

Got a couple of awesome chip in Eagles, but I'm still getting to grips with the changes they've made. Putting in particular is definitely not as easy to judge as it has been in the last few games.

Hope they've got more options control wise than they are showing here too, because I liked the other control methods in World Tour and the Vita version.

It's just a totally cut down version to dip their toes in the water. All those other modes and whatnot will be in the finished version.

I'll definitely enjoy watching other people's great shots so hopefully someone here will set something up. I'd do it myself but I'm a bit of a imbecile with stuff like that.

This is totally false as I misread things. I was actually second in the last ten players that played online, not second overall.

Some of the score on it are insane though. 9 under is my best and I'm pretty confident I could get 11 under on a fairly consistent basis but how people are getting 14 under is beyond me. I'll admit that I could see it more likely in the full version with better equipment and stats, but you can only hit the ball so far in the demo(unless other people are randomly being given better stuff), so it's got me flummoxed.

That's like consistently putting it in from the fairway on every hole, and I don't care how good you are at it,you'll still need that element of good fortune for it to go in perfectly like that. I accept that it can happen(I've done plenty myself, even a few albatrosses on the last game), but once every now and again, not 3 or 4 times in a round.

Its obviously possible (even with current gear) to get all Birdies on the Par 4s and Eagles on the Par 3s and 5s. That would give you 13 under, although I admit getting a hole-in-one on the par 3s would seem to be pretty difficult.

I will say as I said I've got chip in Eagles on a couple of the par 4s. So anything up to 15 under is certainly doable, although personally I'd need to play 100s if not 1000s of rounds to get close to a score like that.

Looking at the 1H scores it appears that Eagles on all the par 3 and 4 holes and Albatrosses on the par 5s are the top scores. 20 under would be the perfect round for the current available equipment it seems.

Anyone want a physical copy for £26? I seem to have forgotten I'd ordered with Simplygames and have also got a digital pre-order too. :fp:

My copy arrived from ShopTo today!

A great summary of modern gaming though as on the box it says it only takes 11gb HDD space, and yet the first thing you have to do is download a 7.5gb patch.
