Sony not so sure about Resistance 3

Anything to do with games at all.

I finished the first, it was never great but it was good and I was always keen to see where the story took me. The second got dull very quickly and i traded it. I probably wouldn't get a third.

I really liked the first one, mainly due to the split screen co-op, which was taken out of the 2nd. :|

...and as
Hale was killed off in the second
, it is really worth carrying on?

I really loved the single player in the first game. The multiplayer was also excellent but multiplayer FPSs are not my sort of thing. I never got around to playing Resistance 2 but I heard it's not as good.

That's weakest one in the series, Crack In The Time is much, much better.

I think we can all generally agree there's no one out there absolutely dying for another Resistance game but there are an awful lot of people who respect Insomniac and would be interested to see what they could do with a new IP.

Single player wise Resistance Retribution blows the console versions out of the water. But the multiplayer in R2 was superb both in co-op and vs.

I'd be up for this. Even if it was just for one last time.

The last maps are pretty hard, so we'd need players who actually have some skill at the game - that rules you out Suzz, I'm afraid :(

I don't think A Crack In Time is any real advance on any of the previous Ratchet games, it's just slightly better. The time puzzles were nice, but they were the only new idea of any note.

Resistance? The second game is one of the most content-rich shooters you'll find, though it feels absolutely archaic in places. Like when you go around a corner and a bunch of enemies appear out of thin air. AI's as basic as they come, too.

Don't think I'd bother with it unless it was a big improvement. They were alright games but I absolutely hated how it skipped a load of story between 1 and 2, expecting me to read shitty back stories elsewhere.

Resistance 3? I'd like them to carry on making it so I can hear on launch how great the game is, and then later hear from the same overhyped bellends a year later that the game is actually incredibly average (gooseberry fool).

The amount of times you guys have to eat your own words when it comes to gooseberry fool games.

I want them to finish that strawberry floating story. Massive cliffhanger at the end of the second one. :x :x :x :x
