I got mine for £175 with various discounts and I love it.

My gaming time had tripled, flying through Spiderman2 - and I’m now looking to which of the other 10 odd games I’ve downloaded on plus to play next.

It’s reinvigorated my hobby.

I posted on the main PS5 thread, but thought worth posting here too.

I've had my Portal for a week or so now and it is a fantastic piece of kit. Rarely is it obvious that I'm not playing on a dedicated handheld PS5. It is making it feasible to boot up the PS5 dring short periods of downtime.

Any game recommendations? I'm thinking of anything which could be played in short bursts, really.

Hotline Miami or Superhot games springs to mind. Also Toem is a wonderful game but not quite "short bursts" but the game isn't that long (roughly 8-10 hours or so.)

I have sunk hours into Balatro & Pentiment over the past month - I think I’ve played both games twice on the TV & the remainder on my Portal. Both games are perfect for handheld.

Tinykin is one of them.

Lately I enjoyed it and so relaxing to play.

I trialed the Portal away from home yesterday. I'm sure my friend has a good internet connection, but I was still expecting some input lag when connecting via a different connection to my PS5.

It worked seamlessly! Very impressed.

Thanks for the game recommendations. I've downloaded Tinykin, as it's in the PS Plus collection. Look forward to giving it a try on Portal.

I tried mine on a 5G mobile connection in central Manchester and it was flawless - better than at home a floor above my router, where I get some stuttering.

Have you been looking out for a Portal?

It's currently back in stock at Amazon at the standard £199 price - click.

^ ...and they're gone! I'm guessing that Amazon must be getting a fairly small allocation as they're selling out straight away.
