while others continue to panic at what may or may not take the show honors. two Very Very Very reliable sources have spoken.

Have we seen the same thing? If so it will own what Microsoft think will own E3 which I also have seen.

I predict...Nintendo to make silly beggars out of both of them.

Well, I hope so.

I don't really care if it comes from Sony or Microsoft, but I'd like something truly exciting at E3. I can't remember the last time there was.

Leaving aside for a moment the things we don't know about, I presume this is how the exclusives (as in full retail games) line up...

Sony (PS3 exclusives)

Heavy Rain
Uncharted 2
God of War III
MAG
White Knight Chronicles

Microsoft (360 exclusives)

Halo 3 ODST
Alan Wake
Forza Motorsport 3
Splinter Cell Conviction
Ninety-Nine Nights II
Halo: Chronicles

How intriguing and exciting. I'm almost tempted to go out and buy a PS3 in readiness.

E3 can't come soon enough. I adore E3.

One of the few perks of exams is they let you mostly ignore it.

Last year completely slipped past me. Wasn't a lot to catch up on, really.

My guess is that it's not a new game.

My guess would either be a piece of hardware or a peripheral. If it was a big game would they really show it off to people working for other games companies.

Just a really quick question but it seems like guys like Suzz and Shadow work within the industry just wondering what part they actually work in? does anyone know? do they work for a mag or Website or something much more?

Just curious is all

Suzz is night watchman at Sony's UK HQ, and Shadow designs sporks for the canteen at Nintendo. (EDIT: might have got them the wrong way round.)

I believe Shadow works for Evolution Studios and, I guess, Suzzopher works for a marketing company associated with or is part of a developer/publisher/platform holder.

I thought Suzz was working for Braben?

Perhaps sony are buying the rights etc to E3, that's the only conceivable way they could own it imo.

I don't know in what sense the posters mean that Sony will 'own' Microsoft. But if it's oneupmanship or something to do with a defector, I'm guessing it may have something to do with Bungie or Bizarre maybe? Could be wishful thinking who knows. But I can't think of how Sony could own Microsoft even more since they've already got God of War 3 and Heavy Rain, BOTH games have solid foundations. I know the Halo crowd is big, and as much of a Halo fan as I am, ODST is not giving me a boner at all, they strawberry floated up with Halo 3.

What would really own E3 is a game that combines the Geo-Mod2, Euphoria and Natural Motion engines in the final product, and not gimped as in Force Unleashed. It could be an amazing new Hulk game.
