I'm in Blighttown at the moment. Dat framerate. On the upside, I'm getting a lot of enemies randomly falling to their death (including a blowdart sniper   ), which I assume is the silver lining of the framerate issues.

The blowdart fellas can be ignored for the most part.

If you came into blighttown from the Valley of the drakes direction I would recommend having a go at them just to get an upgrade for your estus.

Think it's the first one you can really get, maybe New londo ruins, but yeah it's handy to get.

it's the hardest of the first three. you can make a suicide run for the New Londo one, and the Parish one is just a pick up.

There's a big undead Dragon sitting on the side of a clif in the valley, if you go and buy about 30 fire bombs you can kill it for a good whack of early souls and some decent pick ups, I think you get Astora's Straight Sword.

The oppressed are allowed once every few years to decide which particular representatives of the oppressing class are to represent and repress them in parliament.

DD64 told me that people on my Steam friends list can just view my game (click my name -> Watch Game) and was watching me "stream" for a while. That's a pretty cool Steam feature that had kind of passed me by while I've been at Uni! How long have you been able to do that?

Anyway, http://steamcommunity.com/id/richham is my Steam profile, I'm obviously a total noob at this so if you can get over the boring bits (slowly crawling towards new areas, cheesing with a longbow, ~inventory management~ etc) I imagine watching my horrendous deaths might be kind of funny. I'll try and get on Mumble next time I'm playing too.

It's been there for a few months but I only used it once before to play some games from the Jackbox Party Pack with some people on Mumble and Stugene bought that and you can play remotely with your phones. It's actually a lot of fun, we should do that again. But I digress...

Thanks to the wonders of ShadowPlay, I'm able to upload the final battle with O&S. At two points, I thought that the fight was over. I was really lucky that the invincibility roll saved me at about 1:30 when I was right next to Smough. At 4:30, I thought that big Ornstein had me but my character hung on by the skin of his hollowed teeth. I even got really cocky at about 4:50 as I decided to get my taunt selection ready :slol:

It's definitely easier to take out Ornstein first because his attacks are harder to dodge and, with the Zweihander at least, he gets a bit stunned from attacks after only one hit whereas Smough takes two. A lot of the time, I'd dodge Ornstein's attacks but Smough wouldn't be near enough to hit which would be a good thing if I wasn't going for Smough first.

Anyway, to all of you complaining about the difficulty spike, git gud.

Blimey, that looks way 'easier' than I remember it being after playing bloodborne, almost looks like slow motion! Fair play for going solo, you were a pixel away from death at one point!

Havel's Ring letting me wear the Sorcerer's Set and keep light rolling definitely paid off there! :P

Bloodborne's a strange one because it is faster when it's at full speed but the frame rate drops far too frequently for my liking.

To all those who think that Smough and Ornstein are unfairly difficult: Karl beat them on his third attempt last night, without help from me or Solaire. Praise the Sun Karl!
