I might restart Demon's Souls. Royal is the way to go for a slightly easier experience?

Indeed. In fact, Royal is Officially endorsed by Melatonin, I believe.

Practically refuses to play anything else.

Start again I will. Mind you I have done okay so far, but am finding the combat very tough. Some of the sections in the first level are just stunning, like getting from post to post before the dragon kills me and the satisfying feeling of downing the Red Knight. He took me a good few tries.

I want to start again, as a Royal. I never got that far into Demons Souls, the fire boss after the troll sewer level I think. Too many games on the go right now however.

I'd definitely be up for a GRplayed. Demon's Souls is very much in the category of "games which talking about them just makes you want to play them."

So what's this all about then? All I know of Demon's Souls was that time someone (probably melatonin) got totally tricked by a bastard NPC or some such.
