Just before the pathway leading up to the first tower (where you meet the Taraus Demon), there's an area where there's three skeleton guards and a locked door. If you have the Master Key you can open the door and from the chest at the back of this area you can take some Lightning Resin.

You can then apply this to your current weapon before you step into the battle as it'll massively boost your weapons effectiveness against them for a set period of time.

Have you got the Resin though? This is what will make the fight against the Gargoyles on the bell tower much easier.

Bell tower gargoyles down 8-)

Thank goodness for that summon I did before going in.

Oh and some banana split invaded my game just before I went in meaning I'd wasted humanity :x

Being invaded is great. As long as it isn't a vengeance phantom, strawberry floating soul police.

Anyone have a link to a guide for applying the DSfix?

I have an AMD card.

Anyone?

Gave it a try last night, but the FPS didn't seem to unlock properly. Removed the DSfix files from the folder and tried again. Now the game won't even start up. :fp:

Actually, I think I've got it working now.

Dat 60FPS. :datass:

I'm actually looking forward to Blighttown to see how the area plays without the slowdown.

I'm in darkroot basin at the moment and I don't think I can progress as there's a hydra thing throwing water or something at me from across the level. I don't have any ranged skills to get to it in any way :dread:

I think I'm just going to save up enough souls to buy the poisonbite ring from the gargoyle tower bloke first.

Considering the amount of times the hydra killed me before I worked out what to do he's really not that hard.
