strawberry float me, an invisible walkway in the crystal cave..really?

As I'm offline I only see the scratch put there by the devs which says path straight ahead.

Walks straight ahead, falls off :fp:

You must believe.

Toss prism stones and watch where the falling snow lands.

Well done on ornstein and smough, Ad7. You've probably already dealt with Seath by now, but...

At your level, you should either put on the cursebite ring, or the silly-looking massive Xanthous crown you find at the end of painted world of ariamis, just to save you getting cursed by his white dragon breath

I called it a night when I fell off so I've not got to the boss yet.

I've put a silly amount of time in to this today, easily 7+ hours :dread: Made so much progress in one sitting, farmed 60 humanity, beat anor Londo and dukes archives.

Oh and DD64, only the penitent man shall pass.

Oh it appears I can access the DLC soon, which I totally forgot I'd purchased.

What actually is the dlc? Because of course I'm playing the superior version with it already included from the start.

Ornstein and Smough are nothing compared to Artorias and Manus.

The bosses in the DLC are magnificent. Artorias and Kalameet are my favourites to fight in the whole game. They're not messy fights like some in the main game are. Learn all their moves, the right moments to roll or strike, and it just clicks. Hard as strawberry float the first few times though - and Kalameet's HP on NG+6 is...intimidating.

Killed Sethe and bought Smough's amour from some guy under the Firelink aqueduct. Thought I should finally kill that dragon I got drake's sword from but no success so far.

Well done with Smough and Ornstein! :D It felt so good when I finally beat them.

And yeah, the DLC bosses are incredible. I spent ages trying to beat Artorias, but when I finally did I'd got so good at reading his moves I didn't take a scratch. I was streaming at the time so kept the video, complete with embarrassing Twitch chatter. Spoilers, obviously.

I'd like to help more people fight S&O but I think my level is too high. I'm not getting summoned at all whereas I used to get summoned immediately.

S&O hipster.

I unlocked the DLC area last night and immediately warped out so I can go back there at any time. The requirements to unlock that were so hidden away that I doubt I'd have ever found it without reading up, unless I happened to go to the relevant places about 10 times and stumble upon the right bits.

Can't decide whether to do the DLC, Tomb of the Giants or New Londo ruins next. Or maybe even just try and farm some titanite chunks to level up my zweihander.

Killed the Moonlight Butterfly tonight so wondering if someone could recommend what I do with its soul. How many souls do I get from it and is the weapon any good? I'm leaning to using it for souls right now but if the weapon that it creates is amazing, then I might reconsider. Also, I've given the blacksmith near Darkroot a gooseberry fool tonne of divine embers tonight. Have I done the right thing or have I strawberry floated up? Also, just bought the crest from him so I'll finally get to see what's behind that door tomorrow. Killed Havel so might try and kill that giant tentacle creature before using the blacksmith's crest.
