Ad7 it's a massive door outside a bridge by the upper level of darkroot garden.

I've been through that area many a time, joined the forest covenant etc, just somehow missed an entire boss area.

The funniest thing about that gif is the fact it saves right at the end

Well, I did it. Started off with just mucking about in other areas for a change of scenery, went back to Sen's, and breezed it all the way to the bonfire. Then I went beyond that, killed some big mace bastard, and some guy with a rapier on the stairs past him.

And then got invaded by another player for the very first time. :dread:

Here's how it went: http://www.twitch.tv/pyxl8/c/4362301

Reinforced my zweihander to +4 and loving it. Killed some ugly looking cats with it too. I can see what you mean about farming those dudes in Darkroot. Think I might farm them some more, then buy loads of titanite from the blacksmith to reinforce my zwei even more.

What's the best way to ensure I can use my zweihander as easily as possible? I'm mainly levelling up my strength and stamina. Would wearing Havel's ring help at all?

Once you meet STR and DEX requirements for a weapon STA gets you more swings etc. but I'm not sure when your stamina meter maxes out.

Havel's ring increases your carrying limit so you can move and roll faster wearing heavier armor.

I think stamina maxes at endurance 40.

So I joined the Forst Hunter covenant but I'm guessing it's useless because I don't have a gold subscription to Live? Might just kill all those dudes instead, against the cat's warnings.

I am. I thought you had to have a Live subscription to play online as it uses GFWL?

They got rid of needing gold to play online on GFWL PC long time ago, so you are able to play it online even if you're not on Gold.

Nope, that requirement was dropped long ago.

Oh right, so the guy that just invaded my game was a real player then. I thought it was a bit odd that an AI was trying to run away from me. :fp:

Plunged that sucker to death. :datass:

Got this close to beating Wolfy tonight but the bugger always manages to get a sneaky second double spin attack on me.

Get under him ( :simper: ) and go slash happy. I beat him first time, I was pretty surprised that I did. I expected a massacre.

Yes, that sounds familiar. I think I took mine to 50 before looking this up :D
