I totally forgot about that. It's on the roof before the gollum right? It's criminal I haven't gotten back into this, I love this game. I did just get tired of Sen's even though I know it back to front by now.

It might be because my gaming PC is in my office at the moment, making it very easy to stay up all night playing games instead of doing work :slol:. My steambox in the living room isn't good enough for dark souls although I did get it running - barely - on an athlon X2 and GeForce 7900GTO.

strawberry float it. I know there is secret areas and stuff in the catacombs I've missed but I've left it behind and now in the Tomb of the Giants it's fun.

Tomb of the Giants. More like Tomb of the gigantic banana splits.

It's still not as bad as Lost Izalith. I don't think they even finished that place before they put it in the game. Luckily, it was very easy.

Lost Izalith was hard but the Tomb was difficult, so for me, the Tomb is worse.

In terms of design, I'd choose Tomb of the Giants over Lost Izalith any day. Lost Izalith is the worst area in the entire game. It feels really unfinished.

I really enjoyed the tomb of the Giants :shifty:

The black knight was a pain in the arse there though with the big guys in the vicinity.

Izalith was a terrible area, very clearly in an early form with nothing really going on.

Those walking dragon bums are annoying as strawberry float.

Beast skeletons are right up there with the stone guardians in Royal Wood in terms of overpowered regular enemies.

Still not made it to the bonfire.

Keep dying at the same place, and always for a stupid reason (Mistimed a run and got hit by a swinging blade, and one by hurling my Fireball spell and the animation backed me off the thin walkway I was on :fp:) . I'd been pretty good about reclaiming my souls each time, but the last attempt I didn't. 21000 down the tubes.

I lost my knack for it too. After a break from the game I got maybe 1/3rd of the way up the fortress on average before something stupid happened. Like that boulder that goes around a corner and down a ramp (that you have to leg up to get to the giant switch thing). I swear it's strawberry floating random whether you skim past that or not even with all my armour off (and with your armour off you will get one hit KO'd easily).

You don't run up where the boulder comes down you follow it and climb up a ladder.

Aaah I'll have a look out for that thanks. I have followed it down to the bottom but I guess there's a ladder midway.

I didn't know about the ladder :fp: I just ran up and took the hit on the corner.

Got to the bonfire in Sens finally. I'm not gonna lie, I looked up where it was so I didn't miss it. Glad I did as I almost certainly would have missed it.

Iron Golem was a piece of piss. Just set Tarkus on him and sat back to watch. 8-)

I'm now in Anor Londo and got my ass handed to me by some massive Knight things. I love the look of this area though. Very nice on the eye. :D

Also once you follow the boulder down you'll notice a hole in the ground. If you wait a minute or 2 out of the way all the boulders will eventually fill the hole then the next boulder will smash through a nearby wall revealing something.

Yup, I got that, but not the ladder!
