actually at first i wasn't, i was just posting what TT said and to show (seriously) that it vindicates Suzz's views.

In suzz's absence it seemed only right that it get posted and why shouldn't I post sony news? i do actually own three of their consoles (to two MS ones).

then i just decided to piss about, it's too serious here these days.

Wand is more 'friendly'.

holding a pad in the left hand?

i think the lack of nunchuck is abit unfriendly really.

How to hold it with one hand? It is too bulky for one hand.

well that's what the ps3 wand will need isn't it? no nunchuck device?

Wand got buttons already - PS3 controller isn't required.

There's nothing stopping a third party bringing out a nunchuck controller if Sony don't themselves.

The wand hasn't got an analogue stick though has it?

Is it necessary? You can look up, down etc using Wand instead of analogue stick.

But how do you "move"?

It has the same problem as Natal in that respect surely?

How does RE5 Gold work?

Deadfish, stop posting. You clearly haven't seen the RE5 wand demonstration.

You have to hold a Dual Shock in your left hand.

This could've easily been addressed by putting an analogue stick on the wand itself.

Anyway, people seem to think the wand will be used for all kinds of traditional games and they're going to be very disappointed. It's made to do what Wii was supposed to do...

put a golf simulator in your living room.

Seriously though, reports says the accuracy is good enough to easily do that.

Good point. It wouldbe a great addition to it. In terms of it's accuracy it could be a killer app if done well.

Why would you be 'flapping' about with Natal? Surely an intigrated controller and Natal thing would be best.

Like, say, playing Fable 3 and actually talking with your own voice to the NPC's then maybe a wave on one arm to bring up your spells witch you then rotate with your hand to pick what you need. Actually that sounds kind of awesome. :D

it does but Suzz has said it doesn't work properly.

At the moment the ps3 wand seems much more likely to exceed expectations and Natal to fall beneath them (and thus bomb because of it when the press rip it apart).

This better not be 100% 'must' :x I'm deaf and mute and would be pissed if I can't interactive with NPCs in Fable 3.

Although other things makes it sound good, I'm just not sure about Wand/Natal. I liked Wii doing new thing, but I'm happy with Ps3/360 having tradional(sp) controllers...

I'm pretty sure there would be a non-natal version, there'd have to be surely, or at least an option to select a conversation chain.

Aye, I'm sure that too. I just hope MS won't focus on Natal TOO much enough to not consider about those who can't use some of Natal features, or have no Natal at all.

Indeed. I hope the same with 3d TV. Vision being my problem.
