Oh I know I’ll enjoy it. Love AC and love Egyptian lore more.

It’s just my backlog won’t thank me. And it’ll be cheaper in the future no doubt by which time I probably won’t have played it if I do buy it now.

I am sure this game will get much cheaper and there will probably be a “game of the year” edition with all the DLC going cheap in 6 months/a year. If you can wait, then you are probably better off waiting.

This game seems to have been well received though and so I doubt it will ever drop to the £1.50ish price that I paid for AC Unity.

Currently trying to 100% this. The game is almost too big :slol: I'm still enjoying every moment though.

:dread: I don't think I could bear to do that. I'm doing as many side missions as possible as they add some texture to the world and make sense given Bayek is a Medjay, but I don't think I could do every animal lair or bandit/soldier outpost, certainly without getting utterly bored ahead of both the DLCs which are apparently quite good.

I’m currently playing the Curse of the Pharaohs and it’s good so far.

I wrapped up the main story this evening, this is a gratuitously massive game and as a big fan of the series I'm interested in how this tied up some loose ends lore-wise. I have some criticisms that I may well be alone in regarding the modern-day stuff, the size yet ultimate shallowness of the world etc, but i'm definitely going to push on, perhaps wrap up the remaining side quests before getting stuck into the dlc.

Platinumed this last week and while trying to complete all nearly 400 locations was a bit of a pain, I really did enjoy the game and I'm incredibly excited for Odyssey, I just hope there's more focus on Naval combat as Origins only had a couple of levels.

Almost half way through with this DLC and it's a bit repetitive if I'm being honest.

I'm most of the way through The Hidden Ones dlc and at this point i'm close to having my fill - i must be close to 50 hours by now and according to howlongtobeat.com the pharaoh dlc is another 10, which I don't think I have in me by this point.

I’ve just finished the Curse of the Pharaoh DLC and my total gameplay is almost 90 hours from the main game, the Hidden Ones and this DLC included.

I’ll need to go back and get two more glitch trophies from the Hidden Ones. :x

Started this today, so far I like it doesn't feel like previous assassins games, I hated them but this feel nice and so far has been enjoyable.

Really struggling to click with this, I think I'm just finding a lot of the controls and mechanics clunkier than I anticipated. Combat in particular feels worse than I recall from earlier iterations of the franchise (for context I've only played 1 and 2 to completion and have played <1 hour of Brotherhood and Black Flag).

I'm still only in the first area so I'm going to give it some more time but I can see this getting abandoned...

The mechanic where you can use your bird to scout out an area is really nice though!

Still going. Have made it to memphis and the lizard.

Not sure how much is left but so far it's really enjoyable and this may become the like 5th game I've ever actually finished.

I saw an advert yesterday for Assassin's Creed - Odyssey. How many of these games are they pumping out?!

Looked quite good though to be fair, love a bit of ancient history.
