At that bit at the moment and I've turned it off twice now for being bullshit.

It wouldn't be too bad if it at least went back to the person whose turn was interrupted, but no, you lose the turn entirely, meaning it's possible to get completely strawberry floated over very quickly.

Yeah, it's some cheap bullshit. I went and changed my move set around just to get through it, but it's still a crap mechanic.

It's certainly not difficult. I'm playing on medium difficulty because it's the only one that's balanced, easy gives you boosts, and hard just gives the enemy extra boosts. The only challenge I've had so far has been the fight in the strip club where a character with a one hit kill move follows you across the room, and ignores turns, just attacking on a regular timer instead.

I'm playing as a blaster/cyborg class, and it feels pretty balanced, none of the moves feel overpowered, and I'm regularly switching stuff round, largely to suit the buffs that come with the artifacts I have equipped, increased knockback damage, increased condition damage, etc.

Can't speak for any of the other classes.

I much prefer the summons in this. Making them craftable items is far better than them being single use per day abilities.
Though I've only got one summon so far.

I also really like this feature. Thankfully, macaroni seems to be a pretty common crafting item, too.

The character sheet makes it look like there are only four summons anyway. Looking forward to seeing what the other three are.

I think the worst part was that, in the first game, the summons wouldn't work in boss battles, which made them almost entirely pointless. Regular battles were pretty easy for more or less the entire game, so you ended up sitting on your summons as a "Just in case" since you only got to use them once, and then you'd reach the end of day boss without having used them, and then they wouldn't work.

Each summon can only be used a certain amount of times during the game (e.g. The macaroni one 10 times)

You can see uses in Character sheet

I'm at (I think) the last section - and I've used most summons once or twice. Hate limited use items...always hold them off.

I've enjoyed it lots - it's never reached the heights of the first (8 bit Canada, Fight on parents bed etc) but it's been a good sequal. I think I'm ready for it to be over though.

Generally my team's been me (Psi/Blaster), Human Kite, SuperCraig/Call Girl, and CHOAS!

Think I'm close to finishing this.

The optional boss fight can take around 30 mins to complete.

There's a 1 hour demo up for this on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Progress and saved content then move on to the full game.

Best thing about the game is the chatter. The gameplay itself is solid and runs well, but it's not all that exciting, is it? And I didn't appreciate being taken away from the main mission whilst being forced to do side missions with weak rewards.

Traded this in today but not before redeeming the code for Stick of Truth!
