Woah, brilliant episode. I suspected that Ganicus would intentionally lose the fight so that he'd be sold - allowing a perfect set-up for his 're'-introduction into season two of B&S.. Didn't expect the ending though.. I hope Oenomaus goes batshit insane and blames Tullius, going on the rampage.. Lucretia really is a slimy bitch.

And I have to say, considering he's a 51 year old, Peter Mensah is pretty strawberry floating buff.

Superb finale!

Was nice to see Ganicus get his freedom, a neat way for him to hook up with nu Spartacus in season 2. Everything was tied up rather neatly too, the bloke from Neighbours got stabbed to strawberry float and bricked in a wall, his bitch left for parts unknown. And dat final fight...woah!

Damn, the jaw.

Brilliant mini series, I'm glad they had the time to develop it into more than just the flashback episode that they had planned. Looking forward to season 2 of B&S even more now.

Big muscles. Big swords. Big cod piece. Starz’ new Spartacus, Liam McIntyre, is taking to the sands and streets of Ancient Rome and EW has your first look at the escaped rebel gladiator in action. Above and below we see McIntyre crossing swords with Centurions in two fight scene photos, and then standing there just looking badass in another (Sparty basically looks like he’s saying: Hey, you, you want some of this? I mean the sword!). McIntyre will be at Comic-Con next week for the show’s panel. The series will return as Spartacus: Vengeance next January and– You’re still reading the text? Really? Here’s the pics:

Looking forward to the new series though it's just a shame Andy Whitfield wasn't well enough to do it :(

Glad to see his health is improving.

The new Spartacus looks bad ass.

I do still wish it was Andy but hey the new guy seems not to bad.

That teaser has done its job. Can't wait for it to start!

Pity theres no more Lesley-Ann Brandt. Still, Cynthia Addai-Robinson looks like an able replacement! :D
