I'm terribly techno-phobic but it's about time I got some decent (but not too expensive) speakers for the house.

I listen to audio books and streaming stuff round the house (bed room/lounge/kitchen) playing from phone at the moment.

I'm not fussed about moving around house and it moving with me.

I just something decent to listen to books or a bit of music

Suggestions?

I got a UE Boom 2 a while back, and it's damn brilliant. It's not high-end, but it's clear and LOUD. Very good for podcasts, so should be great for audiobooks. And even though you're not bothered about portability, it's very handy. Shock- and waterproof too, so I can stick it on the side of the bath without a care.
