Is the disc version of this supposed to take utterly ages to install?

Not really, but this one took a while to install.

Yeah it took me around 30-40 mins to install, it suppose to install the full game before you can play it.

Unlocked the last lot of missions now - will probably spend tonight swinging through them all and then finish the story off tomorrow. I’m missing four suits and a couple of upgrades - might batter through the gold medal challenges to finish them off as well but only if there’s time - I need to get my brother his PlayStation back on Thursday.

You don't need to get Gold on the Challenges to get all the suits/achievements (unless you spend tokens on other things)

I’ve been upgrading everything as I go(web gadgets and powers), so think I worked out that I need about three or four more golds to ensure I have enough tokens. Ideally I’d like to be 100% upgraded and ready for the DLC before I hand the PS4 back, but it’ll take a hefty push to manage that.

My son seems to have spanked some challenge tokens on upgrades in my absence from the game, so I'll have to tackle some of the shitter ones to get enough for the suits Trophy. Drone challenges. Egh.

A friend's dad sold me his copy for £30, and I'm frigging loving it.

Platinum done. Genuinely think that’s the best superhero based game I’ve ever played. There’s so much fan service, and they’ve managed to do so much in narrative terms with a largely B-tier character list as well(Tombstone, Mr. Negative, Shocker, Taskmaster, Silver Sable). Can’t wait to see what they manage when the really big guns start coming out in future sequels.

I would go as far as to say that this could be described as a pseudo remake of Spiderman 2 on the PS2. Like what I've played so far.

It's my plan to Platinum it too, feels less of a task when the swinging around is so good.

Missed the platinum by a single Trophy - the get all suits one. Spent too many tokens upgrading my powers earlier before realising I’d need them. Can’t be arsed trying to get top marks in all Challenges (not sure that would get me enough anyway) and certainly not up to replaying the whole game from the start, as good as it undoubtedly is.

I’ll just have to accept the 100% in game completion, but 97% trophy completion.

If you read a few pages back and you could wait until they ass a new new plus so it’ll be easier to get more tokens.

There’s more than enough tokens for everything you need - I think I’m missing ten gold medals and only have a handful of upgrades to buy so there’ll be a surplus of about ten when I’m done.

But yeah, just wait for new game plus if you can’t be arsed. The drone and fighting ones are quite tough to get gold on but the stealth and bomb disposal ones are easy enough.

As an addendum to that, you can not get gold on three of the fifteen challenges and have enough to unlock everything, from my rudimentary and probably wrong calculations. I have to give back my brother's PS4 today and am only missing three suit mods and three gadget upgrades.

Went back this morning and spent 45 minutes blasting through the city getting all the secret photo-ops. It's not even worth going for them until you get to level 50 and unlock the suit mod to make them show up on the mini-map, IMO.
