I agree, but I honestly don't even know anymore.

I force a few links to open in new tabs in the template like affiliates but I thought all links in all posts behave normally and open in the same tab.

If they don't, that's a phpbb thing and it's wrong.

It's about expected behaviour to be fair. Say external links opening in the same window would really annoy x people, and external links opening in a new window only annoys OR -- if x > 1 then the current set up is optimal.

Yep, it'll be available from midnight in the UK eShop for £49.99, Parksey. I went for the cart version from ShopTo and it arrived in the post this morning. I'm ready to get splatted :toot:

No pre-load option, dude. It's not a big download, though - just 3.1 Gb - so you could get it reasonably swiftly once you're back home?

Is there a decent single player element to this game? I'm not a massive online gamer, but the game seems like the next big thing on the switch!

Yeah there's a singleplayer but I don't think it's exceptionally long or anything, it's really good though from what I've played so far. If you have a Wii U there's a demo of the first game if you want to get a feel of what this one is like.

The campaign in the first one was really enjoyable, not to mention a fantastic way to get to grips with the motion controls in readiness for multiplayer.

Probably going to pick this up on Tuesday next week since I'm on shift for 4 days from tomorrow so wouldn't be able to play until then anyway.

I just tried accessing the SplatNet2 section of the app, but it seems that the various functions listed aren't operational yet... unless I'm doing something daft! I guess they may not be ready until the official midnight launch?

Whilst not being keen on the voice aspects of the app, I do like the idea of checking stats and viewing game info.
