How can people even have fun in this using the Aerospray? If you use the Aerospray you should be killed. Not in-game, you should be killed brutally in real life.
The team with more Aerosprays has won basically every game I've tried to play tonight. Totally broken. Why even try using a slosher, brush, or roller? Sucking the fun out of the game for me at the moment.

Best for ink coverage, good super which you can get very quickly eurgh the right perks, OK in combat and 2x reload as it's fuelled by ink and the tears of the opposition.

That's what happened with the teams I went up against that had the rollers.
Managed to get to Ketchup King prior to going out and Splatfest finishing. I've no idea what that will net me, I didn't take part in the Ice Cream vs Cake one. I've no idea what these snails even do to be honest, but I saw someone mentioning to keep seeing Munch, or whatever he's called, and keep scrubbing the Splatfest T-shirt of skills, as it costs 2k rather than 20k. So I've got a fair few extra skills I'll somehow (?) be able to add to items to best suit my play-style, if I ever work out what my play-style is...
The whole Splatfest has really highlighted the flaws of the matchmaking though. There were times I was grouped with a level 2 or 3 person and the opposing team had level 30+ players. I know it's not level based, but those people under level 4 can't even buy clothes? I usually do really well in Turf War games, but not at all in Splatfest. Frequently in the lower half of the team. Is it calculated differently to regular Turf War? I notice they don't include the total inked in the board at the end, unlike regular Turf War.
I was watching Etika stream some last night, he was team Mayo, and he was getting matches so much quicker than I ever did. I may go for the underdog next time, just to get matches quicker. The wait times were really arduous, especially waiting to eventually be timed out. It's a bit annoying that there are no Ranked games either, I like a variety, I wanted to play just something other than Turf War for a change yesterday. Surely they could work some of the other modes into Splatfest too?
People are actually annoyed that even though they would have gotten the same rewards that they didn't get to defend the honour of ketchup The tweets they show, kids have no clue and linking the problems to the characters This is the only time I'm glad this doesn't have public voice chat because the fan base is clearly a mess.
And I see the kids in the square have now discovered furries
The hardcore Splatoon fanbase is horrible and becomes 10x worse whenever there's a Splatfest on. The faux-bravado banter everywhere between the two sides is just as tedious.
I've been noticing a lot of drawings of furries over the past week. What's going on? Looked at the Splatoon subreddit and there's a mod post saying all furry talk is banned
