Just can't get the hang of Snipers, never could in Splat 1 either.

They're god damn awful in salmon run too...

Yeah, super frustrating if you're up against it and youve got the sniper in salmon run.

The mode would be a lot easier if you could pick your own weapons but I guess Nintendo are trying to make you work as a balanced team.

Incidentally got to Overachiever today with my brother (Jazzem). Seems like there's only one more level after it (Professional) but I assume they're going to expand it a lot in the future.

Had my first game of Rain Maker earlier, just can't get one with it. Much prefer Tower Control! Took me bloody ages to work out what I was supposed to be Splatting with the Rain Maker whenever I got it.

Marina being a dirty girl. Such filth.

Had some good games today. Currently level 14.

Also had some issues with connection. It seems better during the day rather than in the evening.

Took out 4 people in a matter of seconds using my roller during one match. Working on powering up my equipment too, trying to get the most efficient ink consumption and use.

I can't win a Rainmaker match to save my life. Which clearly means I'm the one at fault. It can't be coincidence every match my randomly assigned team loses. Faring much better in Splat Zones, but since going up to B- it tends to be pretty much 50/50 now.

I can't figure out ranking at the end of matches outside of Turf War at all.

I encountered one player moving stupidly quickly with a Tri-Slosher who absolutely owned my team, genuinely assumed they were cheating, but looking at their gear they had speed up on all their items. I'm definitely going to be paying closer attention to my gear. I gather there's a character to wipe item abilities. The more I play, the more I'm in awe at how deep and intricate it is. The art design and styling is really deceptive.

Rainmaker is definitely the hardest mode for me, I played 6/7 matches last night and only just won one of them. Tower Control on the other hand, I got a nice winning streak and won ten in a row. I find the slosher the best to use, I'm not the best at accurately picking people off with sniper type weapons or even the N-Zap so the bucket is perfect.

I do love this game though and the only thing I would like to see is a few of the stages from the original Splatoon added as bonus content. Saltspray Rig would be my ideal choice. :wub:

See I think the sniper is great for some of the bosses. The guy with the big inflatable bit on his head can be one shot. Just need everyone else to take care of the smaller guys.

I shall also be on at 9. Gonna be good. If only 4 people show up we can just do normal gooseberry fool, if 6 or more than we can do private games.

I can't do ranked myself as I ain't level 10.

Yep, me too (only level nine at the moment).

Turf war unless we get enough for some private matches.

No, you can join all games and every mode through the game itself. Discord is voicechat.

With Discord for Android can you just plug the mic that comes with the PS4 into your phone and it'll work?
