Was the F-Zero music part of the game or was that coming from elsewhere?
This does look great from what I've seen so far, if more of an enhancement of the original than a true sequel. Judging from what I've seen at least. Would like it to include a more comprehensive single player mode this time around.
Played this today and just seemed more of the same in multiplayer bar a new type of weapon. Thing is now you can't see the map and launch to your team mates when you respawn as easily.

You literally press X.
Yeah, still not as easy as having it on a second screen. Couldn't work out how to launch from there instantly and didn't want to waste time faffing around.
Hypes, I think you bring up the map and then hit the d pad direction to automatically squid jump to that player.
It's a shame you won't be able to tap to tactically jump to certain areas of the map. I do that a lot. But maybe you will on handheld mode with the touch screen?
Obviously looking forward to this.
Spectator mode is perfect for Twitch streaming, although whether someone will be willing to sit it out, I don't know.
We know that Splatoon 2 will offer gyro controls, using the switch (in portable mode) just like the Wii U version did. We also know the standard, dual analogue control scheme will be included for TV mode when the joycons are attached to the grip, or with the pro controller (and that both of those modes will also presumably support the gyro mode). What I'm wondering however is if they'll also include more of a point and shoot mode using the Gyro (Like the Metroid game in Nintendoland, Resident Evil 4 Wii etc.) - personally that'd be my preferred way to play it as I never quite got to grips with the use of the gyro in the first Splatoon but I definitely felt like that put me at a disadvantage when using the dual analogue sticks.
